Another day in the studio here in the freezing cold Chico, CA! Starting work on the 8th song of the record today.. So stoked on the progress. Can’t wait to get it out and into everybody’s hands
God created each of us from the very beginning with a unique set of gifts, talents, strengths and weaknesses. All of these things were given to us with a unique and specific purpose in mind.
Here is a video of Pastor Garland’s two year old son, Levi rippin the drums! Now it seems inherent that Levi, even as a young child, is blessed with a very apparent gift for music.
For some people, probably most, it is not as plainly obvious to see what gifts they were blessed with. In things like music, art, athletics, or academics it is easy to see the talents and natural ability that lies therein. But for the people that do not poses these types of gifts that are also gratified (or even glorified!) In the world, it is difficult to feel self worth. None of these gifts however, no matter how majestic OR plain they may seem, were meant to be used to glorify the possessor of the gifts, but to glorify the giver of the gifts.
So do not hold your value in the eyes of the world! Take root in the love and admiration your Father, your God has for you. There, you will find an acceptance that surpasses all earthly praise you might here receive. He will always love you for who He created you to be. No matter what that looks like to the world, and no one is better at being you, than you.
Take HOPE in this! There is an unconditional love and it is pointed straight at your heart. We are what He makes of us, and He loves us for it.

Recently my life has consisted of nothing but eating, sleeping and writing music! Making great progress on this new record and we are all so pumped to just get it done and ready for you all to hear. Sorry for slacking on my posts on here lately, things have been crazy! Anyways.. I’m sitting in the airport waiting to board my flight to California and I’m way beyond stoked to see my brothers in Holding Onto Hope again and to be playing with them, again! California for two weeks, then Europe for a month.. Chyeah, get stoked
House Sitting
Me, Chuck and Seth are house sitting for my brother this week cause he’s out of town. Been living in Ybor for the past few days and I’m loving it. Haven’t had to drive my car in almost 4 days.. just biking everywhere. The Most Righteous
Without a doubt the gnarliest thing I have ever seen in my life. I can’t even fathom the amount of strength and faith it took for this guy to say that straight to the face of the man who raped and killed his daughter and close to 50 other women.
Heavy stuff. Very heavy stuff.
